There is a surprising amount of birthdays this month, perhaps due to the fact that Saint Valentine's day was nine months ago.
This Sunday will be the 112th anniversary of the Mexican revolution. Next Thursday will be Thanksgiving day in the USA, and I cannot help but wonder how many yankees Americans know exactly what they are thanking God for. There is a match today, the chess tournament begins this Monday, and the next Hogsmeade visit is only a week away.
It is November 19th, so, pray tell, with all these events coming along, why must the younger years prounce along the halls, chanting Christmas songs? I even had to go fetch the Bloody Baron to stop Peeves from shrieking what I can only guess was a disturbingly twisted version of 'chestnuts roasting in an open fire'.
Lord knows I have been patient these last couple weeks. Being called a racist vache is all in a day's work. But, by the Gods, if I have to hear a verse of Jingle Bells one more time, there shall be a reckoning.
